What are the entry requirements for Greece? (IMPORTANT!)
1. Passport: Your passport must be valid for at least six months beyond your travel dates (it shouldn’t expire before November 2025).
2. ETIAS Travel Authorization: The implementation of the ETIAS travel authorization has been delayed and is not required for 2025 travel to Greece. Be sure to check the latest entry requirements before your trip.
When and how do I RSVP?
We kindly ask that you wait to RSVP until you’ve booked your travel so you can let us know your plans, including dates and accommodations. The latest we’ll need your RSVP is by February 14th, 2025. Thanks for understanding!
Are children invited to the wedding?
We love your little ones! While the wedding is adults-only, they’re welcome at all other events throughout the week. On the day of the wedding, we have arranged childcare at the venue from 5 PM to 2 AM—just let us know in advance if you’d like to sign them up!
Am I allowed to bring a plus one?
Your invitation will specify if a plus one is included. If you’d like to bring a guest but don’t see a plus one listed, please let us know as soon as possible, and we’ll do our best to accommodate your request.
Will transportation be provided to and from the wedding venue?
Yes! We highly encourage guests not to drive. Transportation will be provided to and from the Vouliagmeni hotels, and we’ll share more details as the date gets closer. There will be multiple return trips throughout the evening—don’t worry, you won’t have to wait until 4 a.m., though you might just end up on that last bus!
What is going on after the wedding?
We’re excited to keep the celebration going on the beautiful island of Paros after the wedding! Please visit the "Paros" tab for more information if you're interested in joining.
HOW EARLY SHOULD I BOOK MY TRIP?
May is the start of peak season travel to Greece. We recommend booking your hotel accommodations as soon as possible. Our selected hotels (refer to "Travel" page) are small boutique hotels, so rooms will fill up quickly. Flight prices will fluctuate, but a rule of thumb is to book as early as possible for the best rates.
Am I allowed to take photos at your wedding?
We are having an "unplugged" ceremony. This just means we are asking that all phones and devices are put away on silent during the ceremony. After the ceremony, feel free to take as many photos as you want! Keep an eye out for the QR codes posted at the reception so you can share all your photos & videos with us.
What’s the weather like during this time of year?
May weather in the Athens Riviera is usually warm sunny days with daytime temps around 75-82°F (24-28°C) and cooler evenings around 60-65°F (16-19°C). It’s generally pretty dry, but since weather can be unpredictable, it’s a good idea to pack some light layers for the evenings and sunscreen for the sunny days. Also, don’t forget comfortable footwear—there’s so much to see and do!
DO I NEED TO RENT A CAR?
Renting a car can be convenient, but it's not necessary for your stay. Uber and taxis are widely available, and you can use popular apps like Uber, Freenow, and iMove to get around easily. If you're not familiar with driving internationally, using these options can be more straightforward. Plus, most restaurants and the beach are just a short walk from the hotels. We’ll also provide transportation to and from the wedding, but guests will need to arrange their own airport transportation.
Will I need Euros?
It’s always a good idea to have some Euros on hand, but credit cards are widely accepted, and Greece is ahead of us with tap-to-pay options (we often left our wallets in the room and paid with our phones!). If you prefer to pay in cash, you’ll need Euros, which you can exchange ahead of time at your bank or at the airport.
